๐“๐‡๐„ ๐†๐‘๐Ž๐”๐ ๐‡๐€๐ƒ made their way back inside rather quickly, Luke and Stick taking the lead as Olivia and Jess hung behind. "You have some explaining to do, the hell happened today?" Olivia questioned the private investigator.

Pulling her to the side, Jessica began to explain everything that the Hale had missed; including how The Hand had found them, how they had demanded they hand Danny over and fought them. Jessica also told Olivia exactly who had caused the mess in the apartment, some woman associated with the Hand, and swords apparently. Olivia had clearly missed a lot; their only, and small lead on the case was dead.

Olivia took a moment to digest the information and allowing herself some time to put names to faces, she of course, knew Luke and Jess. Stick was the old man with a missing hand -she still wanted to know what happened there- Danny was the youngest of the crew with his sword-wielding friend Colleen who very much reminded her of someone back home, and finally Matthew Murdock, the blind lawyer.

Her forehead had begun to hurt from the creasing of her brows, a blind lawyer was Daredevil? She needed a nap. She had obviously heard of Daredevil himself and though she had been curious and knew she would be able to find him; she never did, he was doing a good job, who was she to interfere?

The 'Blind lawyer/Vigilante' had made his way over in the midst of the conversation, taking over for Jessica when the P.I herself got confused at all of the information being spouted.

Olivia nodded slowly, the cogs in her brain turning as fast as they could as she digested the information overload. "So why do they want this kid?"

"I'm not a kid." Danny rolled his eyes before bringing his hand up, studying it intently. "I'm the immortal Iron Fist."

Olivia stared for a moment, her lips slightly parted, before drifting her gaze to Jessica who simply shook her head, telling the girl not to bother questioning it. The Hale girl sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose, hearing Matt laugh low enough that only she could pick it up as she spoke. "Of course you are."

"How did you find us?" Danny questioned; Matt tilted his head as he faced the girls; he too was curious.

Olivia huffed as she opened her coat, revealing Jess's jacket tied around her waist, she pulled it off and held it up. "I followed the smell of alcoholism."

"Funny," Jessica spoke as she snatched the jacket, putting it on.

Danny outright laughed and Matt rose a brow, a ghost of a smile on his lips at the girls bantering. If he was being honest, he was thankful that the newcomer could entertain Jessica, it saved him from her insults at least. Though her words piqued his interest, as did her strength from earlier. "Followed the smell?"

"She's like you, kind of; super senses and shit," Jess explained even though she didn't entirely know or understand the ins and outs of it.

"But you have enhanced strength too?"

Olivia nodded with a hum before facing Jessica again, wondering if she should just let the cat, or wolf, out of the bag then and there. "Should I?"

"Might as well." Jessica shrugged, she knew the boys would most likely question her friend to no end until they found out what she could do, or what she was at least.

"I'm a lycanthrope."

Danny furrowed his brows. "A what?"

Olivia sighed deeply as a sarcastic smile appeared on her lips. "A werewolf."

"A werewolf?" The boy snorted.

"Yep."

"You're joking."

"Nope."

Danny turned to Jess. "She's joking."

"I'm not joking, one punch boy. Claws, fangs, glowing eyes, all of it."

"A werewolf, a mythological beast is actually just a what? 5 foot 5 girl?"

"She's telling the truth." Matt intervened; his head tilted and his eyes unfocused as he listened to the women's heart beating steadily. He honestly doubted the woman the second the word 'Werewolf' was uttered. But even he couldn't deny that the woman's heartbeat didn't waver with her words.

He himself didn't want to believe it, after all, a werewolf of all things? But then again, the news was filled with men in metal suits and magical hammers and he had super senses from chemicals that splashed into his eyes as a child, who was he to say what was and wasn't real?

Jessica rolled her eyes and leaned back against the wall. "Show 'em."

Olivia did as her roommate said, raising a hand into Danny's view and slowly obnoxiously long hair began to cover her arm, spreading to her hand as her nails grew and transformed into pointed claws.

"Oh, my God, you're a werewolf," Danny muttered as he leaned forward to take a closer look, his mouth curling down in concentration as he studied the hair on her arm.

"Okay, creep, leave her alone," Jessica spoke as he grabbed the boy's arm and dragged him back over to the center of the room.

Olivia watched them go, Danny complaining as he went before turning back to Matt. "You could hear my heartbeat?"

Matt nodded as he slowly began to walk in the direction of the others, gesturing for her to follow. "As Jessica said, I have enhanced senses too, the accident that gave me this-" he waved a hand in front of his eyes. "Gave me stronger senses."

"Strength?"

He chuckled and shook his head muttering a 'No' before giving a stiff nod in Stick's direction. "Stick taught me how to fight."

Olivia looked around the group and took a second to think about what each of them could do, Luke was basically a human diamond, Jessica had super strength, Danny was... Whatever he was, Stick was a blind ninja, Matthew was a blind ninja with impeccable hearing and she was a pretty much a mythical...Dog. The wolf chuckled lightly before running her tongue over her teeth. "We are quite the bunch, aren't we?"

"That's a, uh..." Matt cleared his throat, his lips twitching slightly. "Nice way to put it."

The pair let out a small chuckle as they finally joined the others, Olivia walking over to join Jess and Luke; their attention on Danny as he spoke. "How long do you think he'll be out?"

Jessica smirked. "Not much longer."

"How do you know?"

"Because this is happening." The raven-haired woman spoke as she walked forward and delivered a swift punch to the blindfolded man's face, sending it backward as blood dribbled from his nose.

Olivia's amused smirk slowly morphed into a scowl as the man chuckled in response, the punch seemingly not bothering him at all.

"What are you doing in New York?" Danny spoke with his hands shifting inside of his pockets.

Olivia could tell that the boy was nervous, scared almost, of what The Hand had planned for him. Wherever he walked, the smell of anxiety followed him, though she preferred it over the excessive smell of booze on Jessica and presumably herself.

The tied-up man uttered his words slowly, almost savoring his taunts as they departed his tongue, "There's nothing you can do to make me betray my own."

"I'm sure there is."

"I'm up for the challenge." Both Olivia and Jess spoke in unison, sharing quick glance with one another, swallowing back their smiles that threatened to break out, despite the situation.

Stick stepped forward slowly, Olivia's eyes drifting down to his missing hand once again, the scent of fresh blood marring her nose, surely, he had to be in pain and yet he was strutting around, sword on his back without a care in the world.

"Don't bother. The fingers were cast out of the K'un-Lun. Which means he trained with the same monks that raised him." Stick explained, pointing to Danny as he finished his sentence.

"So?" Luke questioned.

Danny sighed. "They put us through brutal trials."

"It's called discipline." The man in the chair piped up as he eyed the young boy. "You know nothing of the power of the Hand. You are mice who fell into a well. Believe me, this will drown you."

Olivia scoffed lightly, he had absolutely no idea what any of them had been through, she had fought for her life, her friends lives and her town for 6 years. Jessica had been through hell and back with Kilgrave, Luke had literally just gotten out of prison and didn't exactly have the nicest past either, they had all been through crap; there was no way they wouldn't get through whatever the hell was about to happen.

Matthew walked forward, standing directly behind the man. "What do you want with our city?"

The man scoffed, a smirk growing on his lips that made Olivia clench her fists to avoids walking forward and breaking his nose and teeth... Yeah, she had definitely been around Jessica for far too long. "Your city? This place belongs to the hand. It always has."

Luke furrowed his brows. "What do you mean always?"

"I traced it back to 1820." Jess provided as she glanced at him.

"That's all?" The man chuckled as Jessica directed a withering look at him.

Olivia rolled her eyes as she took a few paces forward. "What exactly do you want with Danny?"

"Nothing you can do can make me serve you, do you understand?" Danny spoke with gritted teeth from his position just a step behind the wolf.

The man in the chair never lost his smug smile. "Do I understand? You are the dumbest Iron Fist yet."

"Tell me what you want with me."

"We want the fist. You are nothing. Danny Rand failed an entire city. The place he was sworn to protect." The man laughed.

Danny looked to the ground, a broken frown on his face, clearly he believed whatever was being said.

The man, however, continued his onslaught of vicious comments as his gaze drifted to Luke. "The same way the unbreakable one let that boy die in a jail cell. Afraid and alone."

Olivia glanced at Luke, who too had lowered his head, his breathing picking up and his heart pounding like a drum inside his chest.

"The same way the woman couldn't save the architect." Jessica shook her head and turned her back as Olivia scowled.

"What's wrong? Have I-" He was cut off by Olivia jamming her claws into each of his hands as she crouched in front of him, a low growl rumbling at the back of her throat as the man grunted. The others all took a step back, Jessica muttering a quick 'Don't' under her breath as Matt readied himself to intervein.

"Ah. The wolf. What about you? How many have died in your care? How many have died in your arms? You have left a trail of blood in your wake and soon, New York will be painted red with more of your victims."

Another growl ripped through her lips as she tried to stay calm under the light of the full moon, her claws splitting through his hands and beginning to dig into the wooden armrests of the chair. "How do you know me?"

"How could we not? You and your brother and your sister all lived here a long ago. You didn't go unnoticed. How is your sister-"

"Oh, I'm sure you know." The Hale seethed through gritted teeth, a wave of anger and sadness drenching her body at the thought of her deceased sister.

He chuckled, his face barely twitching as she retracted her claws. Flesh and blood resided under her nails, red liquid dripped to the ground and joined the small pool of crimson that already rested at her feet. "Who else must die because of you all?"

"What are you talking about?" Jessica scoffed as her voice hardened, she knew exactly what the man had tried to do, after all, the Hale had actually confided in Jessica, she couldn't exactly hide the fact that the face's of her dead sister and burnt family plagued her dreams, especially after breaking the bathroom door when she rushed to splash her face with cold water after a particularly trying nightmare.

"The nurse. The woman on the radio." He drawled out as his imposing stare glossed over Luke and then Jess before he slowly met Olivia's eyes once again, his bloodied teeth showing as he smiled menacingly and nodded to her. "Your brother. They'll come for them next. How many mice must drown with you?"

"Liv," Jessica spoke in a hard tone, knowing her friend would put them all out of their misery.

Olivia wasted no time with swinging her head forward, perhaps slightly harder than needed as every occupant in the room could hear the man's nose shatter, even without enhanced hearing. The man's head swung back harshly before it slumped forward, blood trailing from his nose and down his chin as Olivia tried to calm her heavy breathing.

She dug her claws into her hands forcefully, crimson liquid spewing from the punctured skin, unnoticed by all but Matt as the metallic scent hit his nose.

'Pain makes you human.'
